Partnerships

PHI collaborates with a range of centers of excellence, each running first-class research programs in which HoloMonitor technology plays an important role. Joint programs include activities intended to:

  • Establish the best practices and validate the most useful HoloMonitor parameters
  • Develop novel applications based on HoloMonitor technology
  • Establish a network of collaborators utilizing holographic imaging cytometry
  • Improve methods for the clinical diagnosis of cancer

Results from our partner centers of excellence are presented at scientific meetings and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. We also organize technology symposia and hands-on laboratory courses.

In pursuit of making novel research tools available to National Institute on Aging and the medical research community in general, NIA and PHI are collaborating to develop a fluorescence module to PHI’s HoloMonitor.

Huntsman Cancer Institute

Supported by PHI, Dr. Robert Judson-Torres and his team at Huntsman Cancer Institute aim to develop methods to quantify the phenomena known as epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).

Malmö University

PHI and Malmö University have a long-standing collaboration, dating back to 2008. The collaboration has resulted in several peer reviewed publications and a doctoral thesis.
