Cell Lines: melanocytes and SK-MEL-28 melanoma cells

Summary: This study utilizes digital holographic microscopy and quantitative phase imaging to uncover morphological, optical, and behavioral distinctions between melanocytes and SK-MEL-28 melanoma cells. Advanced techniques, including PCA and t-SNE, reveal significant differences in size, shape, optical properties, and migration patterns. These insights support the identification of melanoma biomarkers, enhancing diagnostic precision and therapeutic strategies in melanoma research.HoloMonitor M4 was used to study the morphology and movement between melanocytes and SK-MEL-28 melanoma cells.
